PM Modi to hold road show in Bhubaneswar on June 20

Bhubaneswar, June 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on June 20 to mark the first anniversary of the BJP-led government under Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. As part of the celebrations, PM Modi is likely to lead a roadshow from Biju Patnaik International Airport to Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.

Thousands of BJP supporters are expected to join the roadshow and public meeting, making the occasion a significant political and public mobilization event.

In preparation for the high-profile visit, a key meeting was convened at the BJP state headquarters, bringing together Chief Minister Majhi, BJP State President Manmohan Samal, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with other Cabinet Ministers. The leaders reviewed arrangements and strategized to ensure the success of the Prime Minister’s programme.

The state government has planned a week-long celebration from June 12 to 20, showcasing the achievements of the BJP government over the past year. PM Modi is expected to arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport around 2 PM on June 20, after which he will embark on the roadshow culminating in a public address at Janata Maidan.

During the event, the Prime Minister will highlight key accomplishments of the Majhi government and share the Centre’s future roadmap for Odisha’s development. A grand exhibition is also planned, spotlighting milestones across various sectors.

The exhibition will include departmental report cards, documentaries, and displays focused on women’s empowerment, employment generation, youth engagement, tribal upliftment, and farmer welfare.
