Bhubaneswar, May 24: Residents living within 20 kilometers of a toll plaza can now benefit from a new initiative by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which offers a monthly toll pass for just Rs 340.
This pass allows for unlimited toll plaza crossings without additional charges, aimed at easing daily travel expenses for local commuters.
To apply, residents must present proof of address within the 20 km radius, their vehicle registration details, and a valid FASTag.
The toll pass is linked directly to the FASTag, enabling smooth and contactless passage without repeated payments or long wait times at toll booths.
Applications can be submitted at the toll plaza office, where officials will verify the documents before issuing the pass. It is important to note that the pass is valid for only one toll plaza and must be renewed monthly.
This scheme is particularly beneficial for people commuting daily for work, education, or other routine activities, offering both cost savings and convenience.
Eligible residents are encouraged to visit their nearest toll plaza office and apply to take advantage of the unlimited monthly travel option.
