Bhubaneswar, June 3: In a tragic incident, a construction worker died under rubbles and two others sustained critical injuries after a roof collapsed in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
The incident took place at the Lingaraj Vihar area in Pokhariput in the afternoon.
According to report, a group of construction workers were engaged in a renovation work in the Lingaraj Vihar area of the city. Meanwhile, the roof of the house collapsed all of a sudden where three workers remained stranded.
On being informed, fire service personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the workers from the debris in critical conditions. They were rushed to the Capital Hospital for treatment where one of them succumbed to injuries.
The Airfield Police seized the body and sent it to for an autopsy.
